Pioneer Square Station (3rd & James) is the closest stop for Baba Yaga Up, Baba Yaga Down, Central Saloon, Axis North, and Axis South — all 2–4 blocks away on 1st Ave S / Washington St, step-free to street. For Showbox Market, ride to Westlake Station (4 flat blocks south on 1st Ave to 1426 1st Ave), or walk ~15 min north from Pioneer Square Station along 1st Ave.
The 3rd Ave transit corridor serves every Pioneer Square venue. For Showbox Market, RapidRide C, D, and E all stop within a block of Pike Place. All KCM buses have ramps or kneeling; the front two rows fold up for mobility devices.
The West Seattle Water Taxi docks at Pier 50, a flat 3-block roll from Axis (308 1st Ave S) and Central Saloon. Washington State Ferries from Bainbridge and Bremerton arrive at Colman Dock — step-free passenger-only boarding, 5-min roll to Pioneer Square venues.
Metro Access drop-off is on Yesler Way (south side) for Pioneer Square venues, and Pike Pl Hillclimb / 1st & Pike for Showbox Market. Rideshare pickup zones are signed at every venue — request curbside access in the app's accessibility settings.
Serves Baba Yaga Up & Down, Central Saloon (207 1st Ave S), and Axis North & South (308 1st Ave S). ADA on-street parking along 1st Ave S, 2nd Ave S, and Yesler Way. Accessible garages: Pioneer Square Parking Garage (203 Columbia St), the 1st & Main garage a block from Axis, and Stadium Parking (4th & Royal Brougham). Metered ADA spaces are free with a state permit.
Accessible garages: Pike Place Market PDA Garage (1531 Western Ave, elevator to 1st Ave level) and Pacific Place (600 Pine St). On-street ADA on 1st Ave, 2nd Ave, and Stewart St.
Designated curb pickup zones at every venue, marked with festival signage. If you need extra time to board, request a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) in your rideshare app — both Uber and Lyft serve Seattle.
Baba Yaga has two rooms. Baba Yaga Up is at street level with step-free entry. Baba Yaga Down is reached by stairs from street level — there is no elevator, and it is not wheelchair accessible. If Down isn't workable, we'll seat you upstairs at Baba Yaga Up with a live feed of those sets — email access@babaobscura.com and we'll save you a seat.
Axis is two stages, one address. Axis North and Axis South both sit at 308 1st Ave S and share a step-free entrance off 1st Ave S. North is the larger indoor room; South is the smaller stage with an adjoining outdoor area. You can move between the two without going back out to the street or taking stairs.
Central Saloon is a historic room. Step-free from the sidewalk at 207 1st Ave S. The interior is long and narrow with tight aisles when it's full, and restrooms are an older, smaller footprint — ask a staff member and they'll clear a path.
Pioneer Square cobblestones. Occidental Ave S is historic brick — beautiful, but bumpy. For a smoother roll between Axis, Central Saloon, and Baba Yaga, route along 1st Ave S or Yesler Way instead. Curb cuts are present at every signaled intersection.
Pike Place to Showbox Market. Avoid Pike Pl itself (cobblestones + crowds). Enter Showbox Market via the 1st Ave entrance at 1426 1st Ave — not the Market stairs. The sidewalk on 1st Ave between Pike and Pine is flat and curb-cut.
Slope to the waterfront. Pioneer Square slopes gently down toward Alaskan Way (~3% grade). Most wheelchair users find it manageable; powerchair users will want to engage downhill braking on Washington St.

Accessible rooms. ~6-min roll south to Pioneer Square Station.

Across the street from Showbox Market. Elevator access to all floors.
Modern accessible rooms. 3-block flat walk to Showbox Market.
Roll-in shower rooms. 8-min flat walk north along 1st Ave S to Axis and Central Saloon.
