Formed in 2015 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Margaritas Podridas (formerly known as Rotten Daisies) is a cornerstone of the Mexican underground scene. Led by Carolina Enríquez, the band delivers a visceral blend of sharp guitars, heavy basslines, and raspy vocals that bridge the gap between classic grunge and contemporary noise rock. The group gained international momentum following their 2021 self-titled album, eventually becoming the first Mexican band to sign with the iconic US label Hopeless Records. Their high-energy live performances have seen them share stages with legendary acts like The Smashing Pumpkins, The Strokes, and Melvins across North America and Europe.
