About

King Youngblood is a Seattle-based alternative rock band led by frontman Cameron Lavi-Jones. Focused on reclaiming Black-fronted rock, the group blends strong songwriting with an Afropunk attitude and an explosive live presence. Their music and mission are deeply rooted in activism, influenced by Lavi-Jones’s heritage as a second-generation Black/Jewish activist. The band's lineup includes drummer Paul "Styx" Stoot, cellist Chet Peterson, and bassist Sammy Garcia. Together, they aim to bring heavy, guitar-driven rock to a new generation of fans, earning them the title of "Seattle’s Alt Rock Princes" from Alternative Press. Their discography features high-energy releases like AFROTHUNDA II and BIG THANK.
