Seattle-based dark wave infused with house, techno, and Latin rhythms. Dark Chisme is a Seattle-based project centered on the work of Chicago-raised Latina DJ, producer, and vocalist Christine Gutierrez alongside multi-instrumentalist E. The duo blends the propulsive rhythms of dark wave with house, techno, and Latin music influences. Since their formation, the group has gained traction for their anthemic, 80s-tinted beats and Gutierrez's commanding vocal presence. Their debut self-titled album was released in 2024, supported by tours across the western United States and Canada.
