Vibrant New York City-based indie soul and pop collective. Melt is a New York City-based band formed in 2017, originally coming together during the members' senior year of high school. The group gained early momentum when their debut single "Sour Candy" went viral, eventually reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Viral 50 chart. Their sound is a sophisticated blend of indie soul, soft rock, and pop, characterized by refined horn arrangements and melodic depth. After releasing the EP West Side Highway in 2021, the band issued their debut studio album, If There’s a Heaven, in 2024, which was produced by Sam Evian and recorded live-to-tape.
