About
Mikey Moo is the psych-pop project of Seattle musician Michael Lee, formerly the guitarist for Young Evils. His music explores themes of identity, religious indoctrination, and personal rediscovery following long-term transition, blending introspective lyricism with shimmering pop arrangements. Collaborating with drummer Scott Helgason (Final Body, Frond), Moo released his debut full-length album, Fresh Idiot, in 2024 on Killroom Records. The work is noted for its candid exploration of emotional armor and the resilience found through queer self-expression.
