About
Emerging from Albuquerque, New Mexico, The Drags were a definitive fixture of 1990s trash punk. Their sound is characterized by a high-octane, lo-fi aesthetic that prioritizes raw energy and distorted production.
The band's lyrical themes frequently lean into dark, eccentric territory, including electricity and explosives. They are best known for their aggressive sonic output on labels like Total Punk, maintaining a cult significance within the garage punk genre.
